GovDesk / scorecards

Methodology

Every number on a scorecard is a fact computed from public data at a cited block — no grades, no editorial scoring. Definitions are canonical; the metrics engine implements exactly these.

1.2 · Voting power

On-chain delegated votes (getVotes) at the window-end block. Shown as a token amount and as a percentage of total delegated supply. Snapshot's strategy-based voting power is a separate measure, never conflated.

1.3 · Δ power

Net change in on-chain voting power across the window, reconstructed from DelegateVotesChanged events.

1.4 · Delegators ±

Distinct delegators gained minus lost in the window, from DelegateChanged events.

2.1 · Participation

Of the proposals a delegate was eligible for (held power at the proposal's snapshot), the share they voted on. Always eligibility-aware and per venue; the headline follows the DAO's primary venue.

2.2 · On-time rate

Votes cast more than 24h before a proposal closes, divided by votes cast — measured in time, not blocks. A timeliness signal, distinct from participation.

2.4 · Authored

Proposals authored in the window (proposal.proposer on-chain, plus Snapshot authorship).

3.1 · Forum identity mapping

Forum activity is attributed to a delegate address only through a mapping with a source and confidence: override (1.0), verified post (0.9), or ENS match (0.6). Where no verified identity exists, forum activity is shown as “—” — not counted as zero.

Provenance

Every metric carries the (chain, block) it was computed at; a number without provenance does not render. That is the product's signature: each figure is reproducible from public chain state at the cited block.
